Our fiberglass slide technical specification

Main material:

Imported DSM brand gel coat: with features flammability,water and weather resistance.

Platinum glass fiber cloth:corrosion-resistant,can be used between -196 degrees Celsius to 300 degrees Celsius.

Aksu M50 curing agent:Curing more fully and completely.

Car paint:This paint is composed of imported hydroxyacrylic resin, pigments, environmental protection solvents and BYK imported special auxiliaries etc,which has a very strong adhesion on the surface of fiberglass.Environmental protection, non-toxic, no pollution, no odor.

Main production process:

1. Applying the release agent

Firstly spray three times polyvinyl alcohol mold release agent on the mold.After drying, spray wax mold release agent.

2. Brushing gel layers

Spraying gel coat resin with spray gun. The spray gun must keep clean.

Firstly spray two layers gel coat resin, first layer should keep no less than 400g/m2 gel coat resin. After drying, spraying the second layer gel coat resin with no less than 300g/m2. The gel coat resin thickness should arrange in 0.7~0.9mm.

Remark:Configure gel coat should be according to temperature, humidity

3. Paving the fiber cloth

After the gel,paving the first layer fiber cloth. Using the hairbrush to gelatinize again until the fiber cloth Completely penetrated. Then use pressure bars to remove the all bubbles. After that, paving the second layer fiber cloth. The two layers of fiber cloth should be pressed tightly. Reap again.

Remark: Adopt the interlaced method of longitude and latitude for paving the fiber cloth.

4. Out of the mold to go through a period of stable curing stage

Heat 50 ° C and solidify for 10 hours.

Lay the mold in a dry and ventilated environment, and leave it at room temperature of 25 ° C -- 30 ° C for two weeks.

5. Demold

After solidifying, using the trimming machine to cut off rough edges.

6. Sanding

Use 240# water sand backing to evenly polish the entire die surface Do not bring in sand when polishing, and rinse with water after polishing. After washing and drying, check whether the grinding is uniform and whether there are scratches on the die surface. If necessary, rework the parts Grinding.

7. Repair defects

Use Angle mill or electric drill to remove wrinkles, small holes, pinholes, bubbles, cracks and other defects and repair with gelcoat.

9. Doing the test.
